Reliable touring bikes (2011 models) available for hire: €12/day — Delivery possible
- Trekking bikes with 8-speed Shimano hub gears or low-step city bikes with 7-speed Shimano hub gears and back pedal brakes (Sports bikes with 27-speed LX/XT derailleur gears available by arrangement)
- 1 rear pannier for each bike available without charge
- Different sizes available: S, M, L and children's bikes
- Necessary to leave either ID or €100 as a deposit
- Hire bike prices: €8 for 3 hours or €12 for a full day's hire
- High-quality U-lock for up to 2 bikes: €3 per day
Note that hire bikes are only available if booked in advance!
- If booking a city bike tour with Bamberg's Tourist Information office, contact us directly at BAMBERG & RAD to check the availability of hire bikes.
- Hire bikes for the city bike tour on Mondays and Thursdays can be collected at the Tourist Information meeting point. For other tours, hire bikes can be collected from Josef-Manger-Str. 2, 96050 Bamberg.
- Mobile bike hire in and around Bamberg: Bikes can be delivered and collected in Bamberg and the surrounding area; there is a charge for this service. From five bikes/five hire days upwards, delivery of bikes within the city of Bamberg is free.
